The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that despite coach Mike Tomlin 's comment on Sunday that he is "highly concerned for our franchise and for Ben personally," the Steelers will not react to QB Ben Roethlisberger 's legal troubles by targeting a quarterback in the draft.
Roethlisberger is currently accused of committing sexual assault in two different states within the past year. While he may or may not be charged in the most recent case in Georgia, the story cited a league source as saying Roethlisberger could be asked to undergo a "clinical evaluation" even if he's not charged.
Additionally, the league can choose to discipline Roethlisberger simlpy for being charged with a crime, regardless of the outcome of the case.
The Steelers' choice to avoid QBs in the draft could be indicative of their faith in backups Charlie Batch (whom they reportedly are looking to re-sign) and Dennis Dixon .
