Chris Bosh will get on a plane with the rest of the Raptors Thursday afternoon and head to the New York area for a game in New Jersey.

The flight will coincide with the NBA's 3 p.m. trade deadline, and if Bosh gets to his hotel and his 13 teammates are the same as the ones he left with, he'll be fine with that.

"I'd be happy if we didn't make a trade. I think we're playing well and the different guys we have at each position are doing well, so I don't know if we need one," Bosh said after his sparkling performance in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game.

Bosh wants Raptors to stand down

IMO, Chris Bosh is one stand up guy and it's great to see that as the leader of the Raptors he saying to management not to mess with his team.  It's always fun for fans and the media to predict trade rumors especially as the trade deadling approaches, however, it takes cajones for someone to stand up and say, "I'm sticking with my team and we're doing fine with the way it is."

LeBron can learn a bit from Bosh with regards to being happy with his team the way it is.  The Cavs are arguably the best team in the East and have the best record in today in the NBA.  If the trade rumors to bring Amare Stoudamire to the Cavs are true LeBron should just stay a Cav for the rest of his career.  The Cavs have accomodated to his every whim to try to bring a championship to Cleveland with the right supporting players, instead of toying with the Knicks.
