This will be similar to SkyDog's The Never Ending Song Game,One of the BEST Boards on Here! You should definitely visit that thread, the people are great, and it picks your brain in music the way this one does in baseball.
Name an MLB player, but the next post has to have the same first name or first letter,or the last name has to start with the same last name or first letter of the last name.
Example: George Foster  next post  George Herman Ruth next post  Jimmy Rollins, etc. Let's have fun with this, there are so many,I am excited to see who comes up with some one year wonders and some oldies but goodies!
I am so glad there are so many CBS members enjoying this blog/thread. It gets tougher and tougher to come up with some names, but it has made me go back and look at my collections of baseball books and cards, which I have not done in some time. Also,if you have time, check out some of the previous posts, any additional information you know about certain players is greatly appreciated! Again, thanks to everyone for checking this out,I think we can keep this going for a long time, and I get the blues after the world Series, and there is no baseball or fantasy baseball to talk about,so i believe this will give us a chance to still stay in touch with our beloved pastime

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT PAGE 106 ,THERE IS A GUY FROM MY HOMETOWN I WOULD LIKE EVERY ONE TO SEE. IF YOU HAVE AN MLB PLAYER FROM YOUR HOMETOWN PLEASE POST HIM!

I also have a thread called the new new mlb game continued from corn's blog if anyone would like to post there also, thanks for the continued support!

Berra, who quit school after the eighth grade, has a tendency toward and fracturing the English language. "It ain't over till it's over" is arguably his most famous example, often quoted. Simultaneously denying and confirming his reputation, Berra once stated, "I really didn't say everything I said."

past away last week after a game he pitched in. It was the best game he ever threw. A drunk driver t-boned the car he was in and killed three and one in critical condition. The fan as well as baseball fans will miss him. RIP Nick. I drive through that intersection a lot, there is always cops at night there. Where was the cops that night. I'm a little disappointed, tracking down the drunk drivers by the Orange County Sheriffs.

Kevin Appier helped the Anaheim win the '02 World Series. In '93 he had a record of 14-12. He also pitched most of his career for the Kansas City and one year for the Oakland . His best year was '93 where he was 18-8 with a 2.46 ERA. He finished third in the CY voting that year, BlackJack McDowell won it and finished second. He's a SoCal guy. It seems the Royals draft a lot of guys from this area, George Brett, Brett Saberhagen, Jeff Conine, Jeremy Giambi, Mike Sweeney, Jamie Quirk......
