This will be similar to SkyDog's The Never Ending Song Game,One of the BEST Boards on Here! You should definitely visit that thread, the people are great, and it picks your brain in music the way this one does in baseball.
Name an MLB player, but the next post has to have the same first name or first letter,or the last name has to start with the same last name or first letter of the last name.
Example: George Foster  next post  George Herman Ruth next post  Jimmy Rollins, etc. Let's have fun with this, there are so many,I am excited to see who comes up with some one year wonders and some oldies but goodies!
I am so glad there are so many CBS members enjoying this blog/thread. It gets tougher and tougher to come up with some names, but it has made me go back and look at my collections of baseball books and cards, which I have not done in some time. Also,if you have time, check out some of the previous posts, any additional information you know about certain players is greatly appreciated! Again, thanks to everyone for checking this out,I think we can keep this going for a long time, and I get the blues after the world Series, and there is no baseball or fantasy baseball to talk about,so i believe this will give us a chance to still stay in touch with our beloved pastime

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT PAGE 106 ,THERE IS A GUY FROM MY HOMETOWN I WOULD LIKE EVERY ONE TO SEE. IF YOU HAVE AN MLB PLAYER FROM YOUR HOMETOWN PLEASE POST HIM!

I also have a thread called the new new mlb game continued from corn's blog if anyone would like to post there also, thanks for the continued support!

Four time All Star Jeff Bagwell ( BagPipes ) won the ROY in 1991 for the Houston Astros. He plyed First Base until 1995, and had to retire due to injuries. He had one MVP in 1994. He finish with a batting average of .297 and 449 home runs in 15 seasons. This Boston Red Sox minor leaguer was traded to the Astros for Larry Andersen, because he played third base and he wasn't going to be called up with Wade Boggs there. Dumb move on their part. Wade Boggs left two years later for the Yankees.
