Get Off My Niners Wagon!!!

Posted on: October 5, 2009 12:37 pm

Okay let me start by saying get off my band wagon I told you at the beginning of the Season you have bashed the Niner from the get go and now you want to give us praises and talk about what a great team the Niners are but we don't want you and we don't need you, we are find without you and we don't want to hear any thing you got to say.
You didn't want to give us props after we told you the Niners is the team to watch this year!
And now here you come wanting to sit in our booth well I'm going to closed the door on you right now. You are not welcome in my camp. The sign was put up at the beginning of the Season we are Close!!!
We are not taking in any strays so Bye Bye Baby.
And as for all the commentator we don't need your praises either.
You talked about our Coach like he was nothing and like he didn't know what he was doing.
Coach Singletary is a Better Coach than some of the others because he played the game himself so who would know more about the Game than a Player of the game.
The Niners are 3-1 and the Falcons need to take notes we are coming in strong we may not have Gore right now but we got what it takes to make you stand-up and take notice.

And for all the 49ers Fans who have stood by our Team over the past few years I give us 2 thumbs up!!! That's what true Fans are about. Being Faithful to the End.

GO 49ERS Bet ATL.

GO Coach Singletary WE Got Your Back.

GO San Francisco!

GO GA Niners Fans!

Get Off My Niners Wagon!!!

Great post!!!!!!! you hit the nail on the head.  I have been a 49ers fan since the age of 5, now 30 y/o.  I went to my first game at 5 years old and have collected years worth of 49ers memorablia.  Now I live up in Montana and there are very few 9ers fans up here, but I still try to get to at least one home game a year. I seem to always be the black sheep, and I took crap the last few years by all my friends up here that are Cowboy, Bronco, and Steelers fans. I know its still early in the season, but I think we are finally on the right track with this team and Coach Singletary.  The team is young and still learning. We have the cornerstones for a great team in the years to come, and a chance to pick up a few more pieces next year.  I can only hope that we can hold our core players together, along with the coaching staff.  I am excited for this year and at the beginning of the season I got the NFL ticket knowing this was going to be a great year, and I didn't want to miss a second of it.
GO 49ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!Go Coach Sing!!!!!!!!

Get Off My Niners Wagon!!!

True words, true words.  We have come together under a tough determined coach and like him our team has blossomed with his style of coaching and training.  Those who declared Vernon Davis a bust now must eat crow as he shows his true worth.  Those fans that blew us off because of our quarterbacks now whose laughing.  I call out Mr. Ratto for placing us so low on his so called "power" list.  In fact the majority of the "experts" wrote us off this summer because we didn't sign any high dollar free agents.  Now they are taking notice.  We have improved the old fashioned way by conditioning and making the existing players better.  We still have a long way to go but we are on the road and look out for us.

Get Off My Niners Wagon!!!

You tell 'em Glory. At the beginning of the season, I had the 49ers pegged for at least 9 wins. I did not say they were necessarily playoff worthy, but that the 49ers were an improved team. Critics site the QB controversy and a rebounding Seahawks team would limit the 49ers to 5-7 wins. I thought this was ridiculous. The 49ers finished with 7 wins under Singletary last year. And that was taking over mid-season. Singletary won more games than Nolan did. The momentum was going to carry into 2009.

As for Singletary wearing thin on players because of his tough training approach. Players respect Singletary. Critics site that Tom Coughlin wore out his tough, grind it out style in Jacksonville and changed his approach in New York. But Coughlin and Singletary are two different personalities. Singletary has done it as a player and other players look up to that. Signing free agents almost came easy this year. Players like Brandon Jones, Eric green, Takeo Spikes, Tony Pashos made their first flights to be here in San Francisco under Singletary.

The 49ers are far from perfect. They have holes. But to think that the 49ers were incapable of a winning season without taking a close look at the team this year was just flat out disrepectful.

Get Off My Niners Wagon!!!

Good post Glory. It has been very hard being faithful these past 5 plus years, but that is what being faithful is all about- sticking by your team no matter what. My college team is the Virginia Cavs- and I wonder if we will ever put another good team on the field. But, when you stick by your team and they finally turn around--it is very rewarding. I love being a niner fan!
