Who plays for the next BCS champoinship?

...after looking at various schedules from the usual suspects it seems inevitable, to me at least, that the computers {and the idiots that created them with their superior knowledge of anything athletic..geez?} will again be responsible for a point here and there at the end of the season creating another BCS disaster!

I'm a Longhorn...and must say past Oklahoma we have a cakewalk! Toughest games are @ Ok St and vs Tech! maybe @ Mizzou, but they just lost Chase and got a new QB...it's restructure time....again! Kansas? naaaa
OU does play Georgia right out of the gate, but past us {TX}.....really?
Florida doesn't even play Bama this year! only LSU and Georgia [i am considering last years Ole Miss a fluke until i see consistency] seem capable all things considered!
USC...do i need to say it..PAC 10......the conferences record vs traveling east last year plus bowl games......c'mon?!?!?!?!?
Oh St and USC meet early, but only one can win and should have seniority through season on the losing squad if all things go as planned.
...it'd be real nice if Michigan could beat the Buckeyes and take em off the contenders list early this year as i believe Penn St and Joe Pa will handle business again in the Big 10.

i am a homer...and don't particuliarly follow other conferences as close as the Big 12, but it seems like quite a few of everone has a large percentage of returning starters in key positions.....leading me to foresee a same ole-same ole year!

TEXAS and ou always...I MEAN ALWAYS hinge on our annual rivalry game and past that it's a dont fall asleep and screw up schedule.........

I have TX {imagine that} and Florida going at it ..much like it should have been last year!

s...omeone enlighten me why your squad is going to make it!

Who plays for the next BCS champoinship?

Statement for the SEC...

What are you going to say when UGA loses in Stillwater??? Or at home vs. the Sun Devils???
If Rocky Top loses to the Bruins???
Or when the al mighty Gators lose in the Swamp to the men of Troy???

Not to mention other possible out of conference losses to the: Big East (WVU at AUB, LOU at KY)
CUSA (HOU at MissST, Vandy at RICE)
SBELT (MissST at MTSU, ULMON at KY)
MAC (BallSt at AUB)

Some of you sound just freaking stupid... I mean Gabriel Fahrenheit, John Dalton, and Anders Celsius didn't always get the weather right...
Tunnel vision is great when you are in a tunnel!!!

I, or anyone for that matter, could start an SEC thread just to get 'em fired up!

I hope you guys go back and see thru the posts how vehemently you state how completely superior the S[elf} E{namoration}C{onference} is. Nobody here has yet to say anything about the SEC being weak!  Go look...the rest of dont need to......we're simply stating that Florida has a cupcake schedule this year....and as far as other conferences, we tend to beat each other up regularly......so because we dont fluctuate as often as the SEC doesnt mean they're weak dilltards! See he past non conference outcomes between the Big XII and the SEC.....i'd love a seasonal conference challenge like CBB does yearly!

*for those just sitting back and reading, watch what follows that statement....here it comes....lol! too easy  "-)

Who plays for the next BCS champoinship?

Florida will be there and it doesnt matter who they play, because in the end they will be sitting on the top with their next national championship. They are just to good to be left out. They may play a couple OOC games that aren't that great and every team does that, but would USC or Texas be willing to play them in an OOC game?? The SEC is always tough and each week any team can beat another. It will be UF and TX or Ok and Florida will win easily. Tebow for He15man.

Two good teams in the Big12, the rest are mediocre at best?  LOL, just wait for UG @ OSU for you to start talking.  There are two elite teams and 3 very good teams in the Big 12...at worst.  The talent in the Big 12 is far deeper than any other conference this year; this will be evident when teams like Baylor are competing with teams like Wake, or Nebraska competing with VTech.

Who plays for the next BCS champoinship?

Texas and Florida.  Though Texas better not sleep on Kansas this year.  Ohio State has a shot if they beat USC, though I certainly don't think they are the second best team in the nation.  USC is going to have more trouble with the rest of the Pac then they usually do, but maybe that will only motivate them to not fall asleep.

Who plays for the next BCS champoinship?

As an Aggie I really hate what I'm going to say, but I think Texas will end up playing for it.  I called it the last time they won the whole thing and felt dirty all year.  And they will probably beat Florida for it.  But they won't be undefeated and it will be complicated.  They get in the same way OU did last year.  OU beats t.u. in Dallas, barely.  But OU loses to OSU and Texas destroys everybody the rest of the year.  Texas gets in.  OU flys a 38-35 neutral site sign all over the country and starts a national advertisement with Bob saying how they should get in.

Florida romps everybody all year (which will cost them in the N.C. game).

USC gets upset once or twice for no good reason other than that is what's been happening in the Pac 1 and they have to rebuild a great D and QB.

Big 10 will have some upsets too, though Penn St and OSU have a chance to have a one loss season and may bump Florida out if they stumble.

Big East and ACC just aren't as good right now.  And there will be no dominant non-BCS alah Utah from last year.

Who plays for the next BCS champoinship?

2009 will be a good year for the Gay-terds. In 2010 the Gay-terds go 8-4 and return to mediocrity like their pathetic B-ball team.

Meanwhile the Tigers and Elephants will once again rule the SEC jungle while a resurgent Vols squad lead by the biggest mouth since Stevie-not-so-Superior sends the Gay-terds Sub-Urban coach to the woodshed.

2010 Gator chant from Benny-Hanna Stadium in Lames-ville (talk about a dump), EUAX NEAUX, WE SUK AGAIN!!!!

Who plays for the next BCS champoinship?

You must be drinking the cool aid or smoking crack...The big ten is a joke 2 teams in the entire conference the rest are worse then cupcakes...The big ten should have to play a championship like a real conference, until then they should not be eligible for a BCS bid...TIME TO STEP UP!!!.  As far as the big 12 there are two good teams there also, the rest are mediocre at best.  Do not knock the Gators Schedule, we were supposed to play UCF this year they chickened out... And you forgot to mention that we play FSU which is a much better program than Miami.  I guess you do not think that LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, and FSU then an SEC championship game are decent games.. you show me teams in the Big ten or Big 12 that will face more?  I got your pansies!!  Maybe you should educate yourself
