And by again (for beating Marquette), I do not mean that they already beat them this year of course, but I mean again as in for like the third year in a row. In fact, most experts think that UofL has a shot at a 1 seed jumping overrated Memphis if they have a decent run in the Big East tourney- because they could be the front-runners for the Big East regular season crown if they do beat Marquette (and again history says they do beat them at home, with marquette being tired from uconn), and Uconn looses to Pitt on the road.

Ok, that looks decent, but your obvious Louisville bias has come into play on this one. You cant put UofL as a 3 seed below Marquette at this point in the game- at least not until Marquette plays some of there toughest teams and beats them.

Number one: Marquettes RPI is only 21, as compared to Louisvilles 12. Number 2, UofL is ranked higher. Number 3- UofL gets the pleasure of taking on Marquette at home- a huge advantage. Number 4- UofL's road record is better at 7-1 vs 6-2. Number 5- UofL is 6-3 vs top 50 vs only 5-3 for Marquette for now. Number 6- marquettes SOS is 89 vs. UofL's sos at 18. Finally, Marquette has one bad loss to a non tourney (and non NIT team) South Florida. That hurts them badly for that 2 seed FOR now. UofL has no losses vs teams under 100 in the RPI, not to mention Notre Dame still has a shot at the tourney vs South FL not having a shot. They have chances, but UofL already took on there chances, and has 2 top 10 wins, already beating the number one team Pitt.

Thats not to mention, UofL just beat Gtown by like 18, Marquette only squeaked a win out by 6 (not that it matters, but its why I believe UofL beats Marquette AGAIN) and makes it 3 top wins against top 10 teams.

So- cut the bias out, please. other then that, it looks pretty good.

I do have one question.  MSU is ahead of Purdue by 1 game in the Big Ten.  As of this bracketology, Purdue has beaten MSU, and beaten them soundly.  Purdue took Oklahoma, WITH B. Griffen, to overtime.

Yet MSU is deserving of a 2 side while Purdue is all the way down to a 5 seed?

I'm not arguing that Purdue should have a higher seed than MSU.  I'm just saying do you really think MSU deserves to be 3 seeds (12 teams) higher than Purdue?  Really?

If the season was over today Purdue would have at least a 4 seed.
