What are your favorite movies?

Posted on: November 11, 2008 3:08 pm

I was stupid excited to watch Hellboy II today because it came out on Blue Ray, but once I saw it; I was disappointed.  I didn't like it.

It got me thinking about what are some sweet movies I've seen lately and what everyone else liked.  I've always been fond of the James Bond series.  I'm looking forward to the new one coming out on November 14th or so too.

For comedy, I like to go with Adam Sandler and his group of buddies.  Grandma's Boy was great!

Let me know what you guys think and what movies you like?

I think spaceballs is very funny.  Maybe the only thing funnier is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles or Tommy boy.

What are your favorite movies?

There are lots of movies on my list to fit the mood:

In the mood for a laugh - "The Princess Bride", "Boat Trip", "Soap Dish"

A good movie to play in the background while having sex - "The Bride" (story of Frankenstein with Sting), "Out of Africa" (your not actually watching the movie...)

Like a scare - "Evil Dead", "Army of Darkness" (funny scary if your sick like me)

A feel good movie - "The Natural", "Dances with Wolves", "Galaxy Quest", "Sleepless in Seattle" (something to watch with your girl)

Good action - "The Matrix", "I Robot", "Serenity", "Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith", "Pirates of the Carribbean" (any / all of the three), "Casino Royale", "Quantum of Solace" (the new Bond is great)

Classic - "Key Largo", "The Maltese Falcon", "Casablana" (can't go wrong with Bogart)

But my fave - the movie I would watch on TV even though I own the DVD - "Terminator II" (Hasta la vista, baby)
