SO CALLED EXPERTS KILLED ME LAST NIGHT!

Posted on: November 14, 2008 4:55 pm

It seems like every time I listen to the experts here on CBS I get creamed in my matchup that week thus setting me up the next week to ignore their advice and still get creamed because this time they were friggin RIGHT!  I am so frustrated with this season thanks to this vicious cycle that I have all but given up hope on making the playoffs in my league.  However my team is so strong that even with my lineup insecureties & 2nd guessing this season I have still managed to pull out some wins and sit precariously close to the cut off for the playoffs.  If I win out and 2 other teams each lose 1 game I hold all tie breakers over both as I have scored a ton more points and bench points as well as head to head meetings.  So this my friends is a lesson in trust your 1st instinct unless injuries, suspension or other extreme circumstances require you to go away from your initial gut feeling.  This way you have only your self to blame and you won't constantly  think what if.  I would also like to give a big shout out to Jamie Eisenberg and Dave Richard for there assistance in completely mucking up an other wise great Fantasy Football season.  Don't agree with me than just take a look at this lineup and you tell me how I am not undefeated or at least close to it.

QB's Brett Favre, Kurt Warner, Trent Edwards and lately Brady Quinn dropped Trent Edwards

RB's Marshawn Lynch, Thomas Jones, LenDale White, Tim Hightower, Felix Jones, Ladell Betts

WR's Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, Santana Moss, Steve Breaston, Bobby Engram, Ted Ginn Jr.

TE's Kellen Winslow Jr.& Bo Scaife

K's Mason Crosby & Shawn Suisham

DST's Philadelphia Eagles & Arizona Cardinals

I may be wrong but I thought I had a great draft.  Only different players were Carson Palmer dropped picked up Trent Edwards

dropped Nate Burleson and picked up Steve Breaston

Yeah,  you have a very good team.  I can see why you have been over 100 pts every game.  But answer me this have you ever scored 169 pts and still lost?  Yeah thats right on the wrong side of a 173 to 169 heartbreaker.  Week 10 if only Breaston could have gotten a score against Frisco.  BFN

SO CALLED EXPERTS KILLED ME LAST NIGHT!

I have to agree with what you are saying.  I listen to the experts for the first couple games than just use my instincs.  My team also could be undefeated easily seeing how i had a great draft and nice pick ups.  These experts have caused my two loses.  I mean i will give them props and they are correct fifty percent of the time.  You have a great team and should be winning nearly every game.  My team on the other hand well you tell me...

QB: Kurt Warner

RB: Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson

WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Braylon Edwards, Calvin Johnson, Chad OchoCinco

TE: Chris Cooley, Kevin Boss

K: Neil Rackers

DST: Vikings

I have scored over 100 points every game and still lost a couple close ones due to false choices.
