Blog Entry

The penalty for good behavior...

I posted a new blog entry, and it didn't format quite as I wanted. Instead of spending a bunch of time messing with it and editing, I thought I'd just delete it and do it over again later. Bad idea.

Little did I know that removing my own blog would result in a message in bold red letters stating, "this entry has been removed by the administrator' ...and a score of -100.  Wow. ...and oops. I guess I won't delete my own posts again; the penalty for trying to post only well-formatted information is pretty stiff.

You have been warned. Have a nice day. Laughing

(And I'm glad to see you have a new av up; I was bummed when your old one disappeared.) Likewise, I'm glad you were able find a way to put up your favorite critter.  I just googled ski dog photos to find this avatar.  There was a cartoon one that I liked better but I would have had to pay for it so being the cheapo that I am I opted for this one.  I do have a Colorado Avalanche shirt for my dog so if I get a picture of it I will probably use that.

The penalty for good behavior...

I went through the same thing with my last blog which I had written in Microsoft Word format.  It was rather lengthy so I didn't want to chance losing my work through this site which sometimes loses your entry when you are in the middle of it.  I copied the information from the word document and I ended up with all kinds of gobbledygoop strewn throughout my blog.  I deleted the blog and ate the -100.  I didn't want to rewrite the information so I copied it from word to a text (.txt which uses either WordPad in newer computers and Winedit in older ones) document and then from the text document into my blog without any problem.
