Rick Barry: LeBron's not good enough

Hall of Famer Rick Barry unleased quite a diatribe on LeBron James in advance of the king's annual trip to the Bay Area, telling Comcast SportsNet that LBJ has alarming holes in his game.

"He's got major flaws in his game," the Warriors great said in an interview airing Wednesday night. "He's six years into the NBA. How can a man six years into the NBA with his talent have a major flaw in his shot? How can he not use screens effectively? . . . I watch the game very carefully, he doesn't use screens effectively and this is not LeBron's fault. It's the fault of the people who are teaching him. ... There is no doubt in my mind that LeBron, if shown these things, would do them, because he wants to be a great player. He wants to win a championship. As great as he is, he should be better."

Ouch. Tell us what you really think, Rick.

I dont think rick barry liked it when he heard the nba logo was getting changed from him to LeBron.lolllflaws, using a screen, shooting properly, u point to some1 in the world that doesnt have any flaws in their game, give me a break, what a joke this story is.2 bad lebron is thee youngest player in nba history to reach 11,000ptsand 2night put up what 33pts.14assists.7rebounds. those arent career high's people. lebron puts up #'s like those nightly. fuaaack yallhaterz out there. in every situation in life there will b haterz. that r jealous. lebron for MVP this year. peace.1

R. Barry knows his stuff, he does not always use screens well at all and is not the best shooter. But he does so many other things great I m not sure its worth mentioning. But if you are picking his game apart he is right on. LBJ beats most with just his athleticism, quickness, passing, speed, great hands and great strength.

Rick Barry: LeBron's not good enough

The Cav's have the weakest coach I ever saw. I can't believe Rick Barry would say LeBron isn't all that! He's is the second best player in the NBA behind Kobe and improving every year. Rick Barry was an awesome shooter but we all know he cries himself to sleep every night just like he did to the Ref's when he was playing!
