Shaquille O'Neal is bringing his Shaqness and four championship rings to Cleveland, which hasn't won a pro sports championship in 45 years.

LeBron, no excuses anymore.

Finally ending a four-month flirtation on the eve of the NBA draft, the Phoenix Suns agreed Wednesday night to send O'Neal to the Cavaliers in exchange for Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, the 46th pick, and cash considerations, a person familiar with the agreement confirmed to CBSSports.com. "Very much agreed to," is how the source described the talks, which have been on and off since the February trade deadline.

So before Kobe Bryant got finished celebrating his first championship without Shaq, LeBron James will begin the pursuit of his first championship with Shaq.

Get the puppet commercials ready.

Are you seriously that stupid? Shaq is nothing like what he was in L.A. Hes still a big man under the hoop and pulls some attention, but hes no where near his dominate self like he was in L.A how can you even compare the situation?   Thats like comparing Micheal Jordan with his team "wizards" before he retard, even though they failed, yet everyone knows hes probably the best basketball player ever and carried the bulls to the finals, with some support, but put jordan on the wizards in his prime they would have won some championships also. People like you should not be able to post, because you obviously dont think before you open your mouth. Peace

Guys, look at it this way.

The Cavs gave up NOTHING. This move does not hurt them in any way. Wallace and Pavlovic did absolutely NOTHING for them. They are relying on Shaq to play 40-50 games, if he sits out 30 games or tanks it for 40, 50 games then so be it. The Cavs only want and need him for 1 thing. Thats come April he's rested and ready to play.

This is a great move for them. He is not the defender or scorer he once was but if anything he IS a LOW POST PRESENCE. He will command double teams and attention from other teams and if nothing else, that will help the Cavs in one way or another.

Whether or not this pushes the Cavs over the top is still be seen but in no way shape or form is this a bad move. This can only help them or not change their current status.

C'MON...  who wouldn't want the Diesel(just Orl and Kobe)...pickin up an ElctraGlide for a couple broke down scooters and a trike......

And as far as LeBron's attitude...he GAVE his blessing to this trade...and why?...because LeBron is intelligent and personable, and very comfortable  in his skin(thick too)....and have you seen how well O'Neal moves this past year(his feet not his mouth...which he kept shut most of the time in reagrds to crticiszing)

rem. that Shaq will split time at C and be well rested and acclimated by playoff time(making Z much better too)

Cavs just a long armed wing player away from perfect

just hope Mike Brown gets some help on the coaching staff(and uses it!)

This is also an exciting move because it gives the Cavs star power. Now they have LeBron and Shaq to counter Gasol and Kobe and the Celtics Pierce, Allen, and Garnett and Orlando with Howard and Turkaglo. The 2010 season should be exciting and the playoffs should be even more anticipated then this years was.

That seems like it makes sense but you have to figure one thing in that equation and that is LeBron has the final say as to who the Cavs bring in and who they don't because Ferry and Brown will do whatever LeBron wants so he stays. So the way I look at it LeBron wants Shaq there because he thinks they can win with him and he brings a presence underneath something the Cavs don't have because they have all shooters and LeBron is the only one that puts the ball on the floor and drives. Plus his minutes will be split with Z and he is a shooter which wil leave the lane open for LeBron and since Shaq's minutes will be limited most likely he will be fresh when he is on the floor. I like the move by the Cavs to bad it isn't long term because if they win a championship I think Shaq will most likely retire.

How can anyone bash the Cavs for this one?

How can anyone even argue that Shaquille O'Neal isn't an improvement over and ?

How much did and contribute to the Cavaliers during the regular season and playoffs? All the Cavaliers did was replace two players that did NOTHING with a gigantic body that actually played pretty well for the Suns last season. If it wasn't for injuries to the Suns, they would've been a decent team.

I promise you we will NOT win a championship as our town is cursed.
It is.
Shaq will get hurt and LeBron will leave.
You read it here first.

You really need to watch basketball before making a foolish comment like that.
