Final Four: Best Rock Album of the 70's

The Who

Pink Floyd

Love Fleetwood Mac, but Rumours is definitely pop. "Time" could very well be the best song Pink Floyd ever made, especially the Gilmour guitar solo.

It is good to see ZoSo in the mix, and everyone should own this album, but Who's Next just rocks. "Won't Get Fooled Again" is one of my all time faves.

Final Four: Best Rock Album of the 70's

I'm picking today, Feb. 7th, mentioned because on the 8th it might be different.  For me and I suppose most people music, especially rock music, is all about the mood I'm in.  That being said I'm going with:

IV   '71 - Led Zeppelin

and

Dark Side of the Moon   '73 - Pink Floyd

This is like picking between your kids!  Got to go w/ personal taste since a great case can be made for all 4.  I guess that means I'll got w/ The Who and Pink Floyd by the thinnest hair.
