The Finals: Best President of all Time

Gotta go with Washington.

He was so integral in establishing a nation and getting the divided states to work together.  He laid the ground work for how the position was to be filled and what type of person should fill it.

He is the only president to ever have received 100% of the electoral college votes and he did it twice.  One of only two Presidents to lead a military force on the field as President.

He turned down "kingship" and instead stepped aside and made sure that the troubles of English rule did not get established in this country.  He walked away from the Presidency after his 8 years much to the dismay of the public, refusing to serve more than 2 terms.

The Finals: Best President of all Time

President Abraham Lincoln, the undisputed best president, according to some web site that I saw it on. I didn't vote for him for that reason, I chose Mr. Lincoln, due to his choosing right over wrong, in the face of much adversity. He would not allow the rights of some be trampled for the benefit of so few. Way to go ABE!

I think I missed a round, oh well. I will go with Honest Abe. I just read somewhere, I think it was CNN, that had the presidents ranked, and Abe came out #1, guess they stole your idea.
