The latest edition of my bracket can be found here . Not a whole lot of changes, but Wisconsin and Gonzaga both fell a seed with their losses last night. Villanova is barely hanging on to a #1 seed over Purdue, but that can easily change over the next week.

#1 seeds: Kansas, Kentucky, Syracuse, Villanova
#2 seeds: Purdue, Duke, West Virginia, Kansas State
#3 seeds: Vanderbilt, New Mexico, Michigan State, Georgetown
#4 seeds: Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio State, Pittsburgh

Last Four In: Florida, St. Mary's, San Diego State, Marquette
Last Four Out: Mississippi, William & Mary, Seton Hall, South Florida
Next Four Out: Charlotte, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Arizona State

Special shoutout to the Sun Belt conference who has 5 teams tied for the lead at 10-5 in conference. North Texas gets the auto bid due to having the best RPI of the bunch. That should be a fun conference tournament to watch.

Lobofan2003 Bracket 2/19/10

Lobofan2003, sorry I didn't see that you already had Vanderbilt at a #3 seed already. I know this is just a mock bracket and its still Febrauary, but IMO, Texas would be the top 4 seed most likely to get upset in the first round. They remind me a lot about Wake Forest last year: Started out hot, one of the last teams to lose a game, climbed all the way to #1, but would frefall from there and eventually get upset in the first round by Cleveland State.

Wheaties,

I already have Vanderbilt ahead of Texas as a 3 seed. I agree with you about Purdue and Villanova. If Villanova slips up once more they will be down to a 2 seed if Purdue can win out.

Lobofan2003 Bracket 2/19/10

I was impressed by Purdue when they won at Ohio State on Wendesday. Right now, I'd probably give Villanova just a slight edge over Purdue for a #1 Seed. However, If they lose Sunday @Pitt then I'd bump Purdue up to a 1 seed. Also, if Vanderbilt could pull of the upset and beat Kentucky this weekend I'd bump them up to a 4 seed and put a streaking Texas team down a seed.
