Daily Picks: 3/3 & 3/4 (BIT Play-In Round)

My score is correct.  I look forward to the BIT knowing that I still have no chance of winning the BIT.  This way, I can pick the UNC-G spartans and not care that the outcome of the game could damage my chances of winning the road to the final beer.

Daily Picks: 3/3 & 3/4 (BIT Play-In Round)

Please double check your scores and let me know if I made any mistakes.  If not, the landscape of college basketball has forever been changed by one game:

4-IDAHO (9) over San Jose State (2)

In a daring move, chrisisbuck#2 put 13 points (actually 14 but the missing UMBC game knocked it down by 1) on the visiting San Jose State Spartans.  The Idaho Vandals dominated and, in one of the most amazing stories of the year, Beer may have backed his way into the National Championship round with the lowest overall “pick percentage” ever (72%).  Things will never be the same…

Daily Picks: 3/3 & 3/4 (BIT Play-In Round)

Well I now started to have hard time trusting with Oregon Ducks or should I named to Oregon Aflacs?  I noticed I was the only one picked Oregon.  I knew Washington could win the game last night but the schedule showed Oregon beat Washington in Seattle 90-79 on January 2.  Well how did that happen with these Aflacs lost to Mighty Huskies at home last night 86-72???  Geez!   What a story for PAC-10!

Actually, after a bit of more research, I found that there is no game. This is from Wikipedia (believe it or not, there is a Wikipedia entry for this tournament):

was initially slated as the #5 seed in the tournament. However, due to a series of scandals surrounding the program, the Bearcats announced they would sit out the tournament. According to , the conference's other members pressured Binghamton to sit out. Conference commissioner , however, said the decision was Binghamton's alone. Therefore this lead to the original #6 seed Hartford Hawks to become the #5 seed, the #7 seed New Hampshire Wildcats to become #6, and the cancellation of the first-round game between UMBC and Albany who become the #7 and #8 seeds in the tournament.
