St. Pierre vs. Penn 2

This is gonna be an epic tilt. Champions in their prime. Georges "rush" St. Pierre wins the split decision in the first meeting. I'm totally psyched for this bout. Being Canadian i'm pulling for Georges, however BJ is one scary dude, can take and give beatings like nobody else. Either way this fight is gonna be a win win situation for the UFC. The winner of this fight becomes a legend and a certain HOF'er!

As i predicted GSP ko's the Prodigy in the 4TH round. To those who are defending BJ by blaming this on his conditioning? Really? You think that this fight arguably the biggest of his career, a chance for lengendary status that he fails to train and prepare himself for a battle? Give me a break. You can't take away GSP's dominace in this fight. I think we witnessed again arguably the best P4P fighter own another champion and impose his will reletlessly. Nobody can take away what Georges accomplished last night. I think a couple more title defences and we'll see perhaps another insane fight being St. Pierre vs. Silva. Congrats Georges history was made last night.

UFC 98

BJ Penn submits GSP with a guillatine choke, after he rocks him with an uppercut in the third round.

Thiago Silva wins a 3 round split decision over Lyoto Machida and earns a shot at Rashad Evans for the Light-Heavy weight championship.

Jon Jones TKO victory over Stephan Bonner.

Sum Yung Guy defeats Karo Parisyan in a close decision.

Nate Diaz submits Clay Guida.

I think Jon Fitch, Manny Gamburian, Jake O'Brien & Matt Arroyo also get wins.

This should be a great card. I hope the main event can live up to all the hype. I also beleive Thiago Alves will face the winner of GSP-Penn for the welterweight title.

Thats why we'll both be watching! Georges will be coming in around 185 lbs and the Prodigy at max 170 lbs. That a significant difference. I wish the best for both fighters since i'm a huge fan of both, but i think Georges is gonna be to much for BJ to handle. Georges KO's BJ in the 4th round.

I am psyched for this also.  I can't believe that they chose to put it on the day before the super bowl.  It doesn't make sense to me to try to compete (even if it isn't direct competition) with the most watched sporting event in the US.  The other thing that was a bit shocking to me was that GSP is as big a favorite as he is.  Last that I looked he was around a 2-1 favorite.  I'll be rooting for Penn but it should be a great fight.  My guess is Penn by triangle in the 2nd.
