my fantasy baseball offseason

Earlier this year I joined a 14 team roto league and I picked up the 12th place team from the previous season.  Here was my roster when I first got the team.

During the offseason I was very busy making moves trying to improve my team.  Keep in mind that I was thinking more toward the future than to this season.  Here are the 6 trades I made.

Thanks Br0nx B0y.  That was pretty much my plan.  I wanted to trade my older guys for prospects and then in the draft I took some risks on pitchers that could potentially get it together and be solid guys for my 2011 team.  All my moves were focused on the future.  I have already completely given up on the 2010 season.

I think you cleaned up pretty good. If your looking towards the future then you have some great prospects in almost every spot. You need more IF depth IMO. I would have kept Nyger Morgan though. He is one of the fast guys in the league who get you around 50 steals. I know you have Brett Gardner but I'm not sure if he can get you the average Morgan will get you. Now your pitching is skeptical because you don't have a sure fire ace but you have guys who can become aces. If your taking a risk and building for the future, I'd give u a 7/10.
