Bruschi a defensive coach???

Posted on: September 1, 2009 9:23 am
I, as a long time Patriots, fan will greatly miss Tedy Bruschi. Over the 13 years of his carreer he has done so much for the Pats. With three Superbowl rings on his hand he is a sure thing for the Hall of Fame.

My personal opinion is that the decision to retire was a well thought out plan by not only Tedy Bruschi, but also the team. That said, I see Bruschi on the side lines as a defensive coach in the very near future. My believe is that he simply cannot play quite as good as he was in his hay day. Now, instead of being cut from the team, The Patriots and himself chose to retire him.

Lets face it, the Pats need his leadership and energy for the team. Every player on that team has nothing but the utmost respect for Bruschi.

With Tedy retiring and maybe coaching, there is always the posability if the Pats defense has injury problems this season, he could always come out of retirment. Now that would be a story.

This is just my opinion and maybe my hopes.

At any rate, good luck to you Tedy Bruschi, and thank you for everything.

;    Very well put, George. And, your right. It would be good to see Tedy Bruschi, coach the defense. He was a great leader & respected by all. He will be missed. As for him coming out of retirement... Well, lets just let him get some well deserved rest. Good luck, Tedy Bruschi.  From a FAN!
