Big Ten Football Predictions

Penn State should repeat

They have the easiest non confrence schedule in the big ten (Akron.Syracuse.Temple.Eastern Illinois)

Darrly Clark is returning should be a heisman contender

Evan Royster a top back is returning

Stephon Green is a Sophmore and will improve.

Even though they lost 3 of the greatest wide outs in penn state history, and lost maurice evans and their sack leader from last year. They are getting Sean Lee who will be a top linebacker. He was injured all last season and will be a top contributor at linebacker U.

Michigan State might not be able to handly losing Javon Ringer.

Illinois was supposed to be a top ten team last year. They Didnt end up being ranked. I know Juice will be better this year but not 2nd

Purdue is losing head coach Joe tiller. This is a huge lost to the team. Also QB Curtis PAinter is leaving due to graduation.

Minnesota had a hell of a year. But I dont think they can jump to third.

Here is my rankings

1. Penn State - Sean Lee is returning (11-2)

2. Ohio State - Even though they lost Beanie Wells Tyrell Pryor will improve. Beloved Recruit Boom Herron will likley start. (10-3)

3. Michigan State. Brian Hoyer and Javon Ringer are both leaving but with good recruiting they can recover. (9-4)

4.  Illionois - Juice Willams will continue to develop into a decent quarterback (8-5)

5. Michigan - Good recruiting on this young team will only get better (8-5)

6. Northwestern - good season last year looking to improve even more (7-6)

7. Minnesota - they went from 1-11 season to 7-6 a huge improvement. Might be a minor setback this season (7-6)

8. Iowa - Shon Greene is gone they will struggle without him (6-7)

9.Indiana They will be just as bad as in football as they are in basketball (6-7) Surprised

10. Wisconsin - They will struggle a lot this season (6-7)

11. Purdue - Joe tiller and QB Curtis Painter are gonee (2-10)

big ten football preview

How 'bout them Hawks now beotches! I guarantee some of the players from Michigan soiled themselves. Forcier, is cocky so he is going to walk into Kinnick like he owns the joint, but then Clayborn and the rest of the defensive line will put that idea to rest real fast. Michigan has not faced a defense like Iowa's nor will they with the exception of Ohio State. Seriously, he's done for. I heard on TV this morning that Iowa has not had a rushing touchdown on them for the last 14 quarters. So hopefully they keep that up with the Womenrines.
So I guess the big ten didn't turn out like everyone thought it would. Teams suck that shouldn't suck, and some of the former second rate teams are now taking over (ie Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin).

Here how its gonna be:

1. IOWA  (Yeah I said it, they should go undefeated barring their lifelong tradition of losing to a crappy team at least once a year.)

2. Ohio state  (I wish I could rate them lower, but common sense says they will likely do well.)

3.Penn State  (They're good, but are probably still wettin their beds about their perfect season being ruined. We can't all be Temple.)

4. Minnesota  (I retract my previous statement about them quitting football, growing mullets, and playing hockey.  They don't suck.)

5/6. Michigan and Wisconsin (or vice versa.....they will both likely end up with about a 8-4 season, but both will lose their bowl game

7. Illinois (I think they suck, but surprisingly many of the commentators believe they have talent. Too bad their coach seems like a

8. Michigan State (They will figure out a way to not suck, but it will be too late. This will be a "play for pride" season. Just don't beat Ia. )

9. Indiana (They are definietly showing fight. They beat Michigan and everyone knows it. The refs helped them out as usual. Makes you

10. Northwestern- (Althought Pat Fitzgerald is 2 for 3 against Ferentz I think Iowa has them this year. This is the team I hate the most,

11. Purdue  (Purdon't win? "Don't mind if we Purdue" say the Boilermakers. Danny Hope can be the mechanic at the fictitious used car

One small consolation is that most reviews have predicted that IU finishes better than PU.  I do like that.  There is enthusiasm and reason to be hopeful with a couple DEs that lead the nation in most sacks.  A QB that is a better passer and decision maker than Lewis.  A new facility that will get the fans rowdy.  And a coach who knows he needs to do something great to keep his job.  Lets go Hoosiers.

Yes, it could happen. You guys don't play OSU next year. Well, that is one tough game you don't have to worry about.

Yeah man, I am one of the bigger Iowa Hawkeye Football fans I know, and I love writing.  I am a Journalism and Sports History major, and recently started a blog.  Soon after I started it I got really busy, but I wrote four articles about a few different topics.  I would love to write for your website.

here is what I have already written
