Ready for the NFL Draft

Posted on: March 10, 2009 2:44 pm

The draft is SLOWLY approaching... The suspense of who will go before pick 32 is tough. Will Colbert trade up as he has done before? Should he save his picks to fill voids at WR, DB, DL, and OL?

For a team that builds through the draft these decisions are critical. My choice is to sit tight and bring in an additional player of two. But how can you argue with trading up for Holmes and Polamolu?

I love the draft and feel that the Steelers do a great job building a team via that draft, but because they rely so much on it decisions are critical.

Ready for the NFL Draft

I'm starting to enjoy watching the Steelers bring in these great players through the draft.  Years down the road you look around the nfl and a majority of the veterans starting are former Steelers.  Gives almost every game a Steeler feel.  STEELER NATION, IN COLBERT WE TRUST!

Ready for the NFL Draft

I have to agree with you, with the Steelers relying on their draft picks to produce and help carry the team into the future, every pick is so valuable, the Steelers have always done a great job in keeping their team productive year in and year out, yes they have made a few bad picks is recent times, but they seem to find one or 2 key players that make an impact in their first couple of years.

So to echo your sentiments... In Colbert we Trust ! ! !
