See you next year Tribe

Okay.  Its official.  I'm done with the Cleveland Indians for the year.  No more TV.  No more going to the games (actually I never did get to a game this year, but that's probably a good thing.  Last year I bought a 6-pack of tickets.  I was going to do the same this year.  I'm glad I didn't.  That would have been a big waste of money.).

I'm sure I'll hear the scores on the radio or glancing in the paper, but as far as putting any effort into finding out who did what are what the record is or which players get called up in Sept.  I'm D-O-N-E.

This season has been a huge disappointment from the begining.  I mean they started the season 0-7.  Its been a complete joke.  The picthing is awful (outside of Cliff Lee).  The hitting is awful (outside of Victor Martinez and Shin Soo Choo).  The managing has been horrible as well.

So this is it.  Si-o-nara Tribe.  See you again in March....Oh and do me a favor for next season, don't pretend like the team will be soooo much better because you signed a couple over-the-hill free agents, please.

See you next year Tribe

Sadly, I have also put the blinders on in regards to the Indians. I started out with high hopes for the season, and those feelings almost immediately vanished. I was cheering for my team, but this year, after seeing the Indians play, I never thought we would make it far.
It sucks that I am getting more excited watching teams, that I have no personal attachment to, play baseball than I do for my own team. It sucks that I'm sitting here cheering on my favorite PLAYERS in the league instead of my favorite TEAM.
