#22....A.L. Manager Rankings

You are right 100 percent. Terry Francona has a great gm and a ton of money Gardenhire's a true great manager. Can you add me as a favorite so I can get more points? Thanks man

I'm a big Ron Washington fan and I wish the A's had made hime their manager rather than Bob Geren. Glad to see people are thinking that Cito Gaston should be higher on this list as he deserves all the respect his starting to get.

I agree with you about Ron Washington. After this year, when the Rangers show they are contenders, Washington will rise to number 6, I agree with you on the rest, except that I think that Gaston or Scioscia should be first.

Gardenhire is a terrific manager but I think he has to at least get to a World Series before he can be considered to be one of the top guys. Thanks for your thoughts.

I agree, he's done so much more with so much less.  The Twins are always a fundamentally sound team.  They are the model for other small market clubs such as the Brewers, Rays, Reds, Royals, etc.  He hasn't won a championship yet because the Twins couldn't afford to keep Johan Santana and Torii Hunter.

Good idea of a ranking.  I would definitely put Mike Scioscia first though.  I think at the moment Eric Wedge may be a bit high.  I would also put Gardenhire third after Tito and Scioscia.  Followed by Leyland, Gaston, then Maddon.

Gardenhire's the best.  Followed by Scioscia.
