It's week eight already? Have the Raiders been eliminated from the playoff race yet? Does Terrell Owens lead the NFL in drops? Do the Saints score 40 points every game? Has Brett Farve retired and then un-retired again yet? Is Josh McDaniels proving that young head coaches are the way to go? Is Raheem Morris proving that young head coaches aren't the way to go? Is Tony Romo dating a blonde? Is Peyton Manning the perfect quarterback? Is Tom Brady the perfect quarterback?
Is the wildcat offense still cool? Does Michael Vick still play for the Eagles? What does Mark Sanchez like on his hotdog? Is Jim Zorn still the head coach of the Redskins? Why is Norv Turner still the head coach of the Chargers? Why was Eric Mangini ever hired to be the head coach of the Browns? Can the football being played in the state of Missouri be called professional football?
Do the Ravens now win games with their offense? Is Alex Smith the answer to any question that has ever been asked? Will Kurt Warner ever get old? Will Matt Hasselbeck ever get healthy? Will the Bengals uniforms make you go blind? Can Vince Young bounce back? Can Matt Schaub be this good? Can anyone predict how the Jaguars will play? Why is Jake Delhomme still starting? Can I ask any more obvious questions?
Last week I won the week with a 10-3 mark while the wicked philo went 9-4. That puts our overall record at.....
sirbed (72-31) philo (69-34)
I now have an overwhelming lead of 3 games (get the champagne on ice!) as we near the halfway point of the season. Looking at this week's games there were some tough picks.
I'm not sure you've heard this yet but some guy named Favre is playing some team called the Packers in some place called Green Bay. The media hasn't given it much coverage so I thought I'd let you know about the game.
The return of Brett is the game of the week and it should be a great game as these division rivals both want to win this game badly. It'll be interesting to see the reaction Favre gets from the Packer fans. I think it would be fair to give him a nice cheer at first to show apprecitation for all that he did in Green Bay and then boo the heck out of him the rest of the game.
It should be a good week of football and now on with the picks....

So we have two differences for the week as I think the Vikings defense will be too much for that poor offensive line of the Packers to handle and I think Favre will have a big game. I hope your team does well this week and thanks for reading the blog.
