In Dire Need to Play the Natinals

As we all have seen, the Marlins have gone from one of the hottest teams in baseball to now one of the coldest. Our problems are everywhere. Our hitting is suffering. Out pitchers are inconsistent (except for JJ) and our defense is and always has been subpar. From this point I am not even sure what moves we could make to become a better team. Calling up Gabby Sanchez and replacing him with the struggling Emilio Bonifacio could have an impact. But we are in need of more that one replacement. At this point in the season, it appears as if we only have 3 guys who could start for another MLB team. John Baker, Jorge Cantu and Hanley Ramierez. The rest of the guys are batting unbelievably bad. Dan Uggla who has found a home in the 5th spot is now batting under .195. Our defense is very lack luster. With the exception of a very pleasant surprise in center field with Cameron Maybin, our defense is struggling to say the least. Uggla can't field, and Hanley with his new contract seems like he doesn't want to get his jersey dirty. Pitching, which is our biggest strength is falling apart. JJ is great, Nolasco can't find that strike zone, Volsdadt is a quality young pitcher (I'll give him some time), Annibal Sanchez just throws 92mph fastballs down the pipe, and Graham Taylor who was brought up because of his ability to throw strikes, can't find the Kzone. Now i know this seems a little doom and gloom, however we are in the midst of a long slump and need to click on all cylinders to get back to playing quality baseball, or our fan-base will abandon them quickly. Although it may not seem like it, I am still on the wagon, but we need to look better in losses and victories.
