LAOJoe's Bracket: FEB 25th, 2011

Penn State would be off if they lose to OSU. They would definately be in if they win. 15-12 is the minimum for consideration. actually 14 losses is probably the maximum. If they win out they would only have 13 losses and look really good.
Who else? Boston College has around the same RPI and beat noone. VT, Clemson and UAB are the same. Bama is getting closer.
Look out. March 1st is a huge day on the bubble.

About St. Mary's. Not too confident. They need top 100 wins. If they lose before the finals they are toast.

I just dont see how you can have 15-12 Penn State in. Right now especially. They need to get 3 more wins atleast, before they even get legitimate consideration in my mind. 14 losses would definitly leave them out. I'd say they need to win their next 3 and go deep in the B10 tourney.

How confident are you that St Mary's can still get in as an at-large if they dont end up winning their conference tourny?

I really like Old Dominion though. Will wait for their tournament to give them a boost though. with a Conference tournament title they could get as high as a 6 seed. Definately should jump Xavier and a non tourney champ UNLV.
