Predict the Giants/Panthers Score

Hello Giants Fans,

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

Just two games left in the regular season. This year went by so quickly. The Giants play the Carolina Panthers at home this weekend. With just two games left for Big Blue and the situation they find themselves in, each game will be a tough win. The Giants know the situation and if they play the way they did against the Redskins, they will surely make the playoffs. The two key players on the Panthers the G-Men need to pay special attention to are DeAngelo Williams and Steve Smith. Those guys are game breakers and need to be contained. This could be the final game at the old Giants stadium and I expect that to be a huge motivator for Big Blue. The fans still want some payback from the 2006 playoff game against the Panthers. There is no time like the present. I believe the Giants will win this game by 2 TD's. Who do you think will win the game and what is your prediction for the final score?

Final Score Prediction

Giants - 34

Panthers - 20

Predict the Giants/Panthers Score

Thank you guys for doing the game analysis last night. That game was so horrible to watch, that I actually couldn't even bring myself to write about it. The two words that keep sticking in my head are "Shocking & Embarrassing". It was like watching a train wreck. The team gave me absolutely no room to defend them in this case. I feel bad for the players, coaches and front office. The final game at Giants stadium will be a memorable one, it will be remembered as a nightmare.

Predict the Giants/Panthers Score

This was an ugly game for the New York Giants. It is extremely difficult to be positive about this game. My area did not have the game, I do not know why, but I looked over the stats of the game. The Giants clearly did a horrible job stopping the run and they could not stop Johnathan Stewart. He got over 200 yards on the ground. The Giants will have to step up to stop the run. Eli Manning threw for almost 300 yards and a touchdown pass, but the defense was non-exsistant. If I did see clips of the game, I might not have believed that the Giants defense showed up. Washington and Philidelphia have to beat Dallas and the Giants would have to beat the Vikings next week. Carolina had something to prove and they proved that they will be dangerous next year. The Giants will have to improve that defense in the offseason and get their regulars healthy.

Final Score-
Panthers- 41
Giants- 9

Predict the Giants/Panthers Score

Any word on DeAngelo Williams status yet?He is doubtful and Jonathan Stewart and Matt Moore are questionable.  So it looks like the Panthers are banged up badly.

Predict the Giants/Panthers Score

Good predictions guys. We are now hours away from game time and it looks like the majority have picked the G-Men to win today. I hope that we are all correct and the Panthers fall in Giants stadium today. I still can't get that bad taste out of my mouth from the 2006 playoff loss to them. I hope we beat them by at least two TD's. Any word on DeAngelo Williams status yet? He was on the injury report this week.

Predict the Giants/Panthers Score

Before Sunday night, I would have said Giants 38 Panthers 0 or something in that range, but after watching them handle the Vikings, I'd say more like Giants 24 Panthers 20.

Predict the Giants/Panthers Score

Giants need this one, but get it because, even with all the inconsistencies, they are better.  They are better offensively and defensively.  That is not to take away from the Panthers but they have had their own considerable problems this year, and last week's win over the Vikings, although impressive, came as the result of their agression on defense combined with some questionable decisions on the field by Favre.

It always comes down to turnovers.  If the Giants avoid placing themselves in predictable situations on offense, with penalties and hang on to the ball, they will manufacture some lengthy drives.  On the other side, they have been effectively slowing down the run as of late, and should be able to keep the Carolina rush under control for the most part.  Matt Moore may actually be an upgrade for them at quarterback, so I'm not taking that as an advantage for the Giants, but he has shown problems with consistency and handling away games.  If we can contain the run and force them to air it out, regardless of our secondary issues, he will throw up some picks.

Giants 31
Panthers 10
