Hello NFL Fans,

That was one crazy weekend of playoff football. I went 1-3 with my predictions and was very surprised by the Cowboys, Cardinals & Ravens all winning their games. The only one I got correct was the Jets winning by 10 points. I'm sure those teams winning, wasn't surprising to their fans though. This weekend, things get much more interesting. In a season where everything seemed to be turned upside down, some light is being shed on who the Super Bowl teams might be. It is difficult to make predictions but it's fun and that's what we are here for right?

I will leave my predictions below and would like to know who you think will win and what the final score will be.

11-16-10 - 4:30 PM Cardinals @ Saints - Prediction: Saints 38 - Cardinals 31

11-16-10 - 8:15 PM Ravens @ Colts - Prediction: Colts 27 - Ravens 17

11-17-10 - 1:00 PM Cowboys @ Vikings - Prediction: Vikings 24 - Cowboys 21

11-17-10 - 4:40 PM - Jets @ Chargers - Prediction: Jets - 17 - Chargers 14

Let's hear what you think and enjoy the playoffs!

Predict the Playoffs Week 2

Way to go Mock King you had the Jets game almost perfect. I know few who had the Jets to win. Their game plan and execution was right on the money after they got over the jitters. I guess its true with the momentum theory, after winning 11 straight the Chargers could just not figure out the Jets defense until it was to late. The Jets were patient and the defense kept them in the game until it came time to break out. I think the turnaround was the punt that pinned the chargers down. Alot of folks watching said they should of gone for the fourth down in stead of their first field goal but I believe those points kept the team thinking they were starting to make a move. I'm not sure they can get by Indy but that's for next week.

Predict the Playoffs Week 2

Hello NFL Fans,

After going 1-3 in the first weekend of playoff action, I made a nice rebound in week 2, by getting all 4 picks correct. This weekend went exactly how I thought it would and even my upset pick of the Jets beating the Chargers, was deadly accurate right down to the final score. So now we know the final four teams, that have a shot at the big game. Stay tuned for another installment of predicting the playoffs this week. To all of you football fans who had teams that won, Congrats and sorry to those of you who had teams that lost.

Predict the Playoffs Week 2

Hey Guys,

Once again, very good analysis from everyone and I see a lot of truth in all of your comments. The wait is almost over because the games start tomorrow. I'm still not convinced that the Cowboys will beat the Vikings though. The Vikings have that guy named Adrian Peterson on their team and I think he has been lost in the shuffle with so much shine focused on Favre. AP will have a big day in one of the most important games of his career, in my opinion.

@Patsrule - Yeah man, I was rooting for you when that game was going on but they fell short this season. I expect both of our teams to be much better next season like I said. Keep your head up and enjoy the playoffs. The Patriots seem to always be in the mix at some point, even though they haven't won the big game since 2004, they are still a dangerous team.

Predict the Playoffs Week 2

Thank you for the support. It was upsetting that we lost. It did not take long to get over it. Our defense played horribly, and we lost because of that. We could not get the job done even when they turned the ball over. We had some chances to get back in the game but we did not.

Here are a few facts that you may not know about for the Cowboys-Vikings game.
1. Brett Favre is 0-14 when I am rooting for him. He has lost every single game, including the 2007 playoffs (do not be mad at me). I will be rooting for Favre, and there is a good chance he will lose.
2. The Vikings lost to the Bears.
3. The Vikings have not got it done when the pressure is on. Example- The 2 Sunday Night Games vs. Carolina and Arizona.
4.  The Vikings have not beaten a good defense. You can say the Ravens but the defense was not at its best at that point. Dallas has a good defense and can easily shut down the Vikings offense.
5. The Vikings only beat bad teams. They did not beat a good team at all. They beat the Browns, Detroit twice, St. Louis, Seattle. That is 5 wins against below .500 teams. They almost lost to the 49ers. Dallas is a good team and Miles Austin should have a field day.

Predict the Playoffs Week 2

Here are my predictions:

@ -- What and the WR's were able to do against a pretty good defense last week was unprecedented.  If the Packers couldn't stop them, I don't see how the Saints can.  The Cowboys and proved can be beat.  The Cardinals will prove it too.

;     &nbs
p;  28

@ -- The Colts offense usually struggles against this team, but the defense always manages to play a tad bit better than the Ravens defense.  Expect more of the same here with maybe a late TD or FG deciding the outcome.  does just enough to get the win.

RAVENS     17

@ -- I underestimated the Cowboys last week.  I won't make that mistake this week.  The Cowboys are playing their best football right now.  The Vikings are not.  If the Vikings are smart, they'll put the game in 's hands.  But, they won't.  will cry about wanting to run the offense and boss the coaches around, and it will cost them.  Expect the #2 seed to go down as well.

@ -- The Jets won't push the Chargers around the way they did the .  The Bengals just wore down toward the end of the season.  However, the Chargers have won nine straight under the arm of and an improving defense.  Expect Rivers to be prepared for the blitz and take advantage of one-on-one match-ups down the field.  Chargers big at home.

Predict the Playoffs Week 2

Saints 31 - Cardinals 28

Cowboys 37 - Vikings 17

Colts 20  -  Ravens 17

Chargers 24 - Jets 20

I think all games will be close except the Cowboys game. The reason for the big desparity I think Favre will throw some late picks leading to Dallas points.

Predict the Playoffs Week 2

Saints 42 Cards 28
Too much offense for the Cards to handle and i think the Saints Defence comes up with a score or a big turnover in Cards territory.

Colts  27 Ravens 10
I believe the fact that Flacco is not 100% comes in here. They will be handicapped to the point of submission.

Vikings 27 Cowboys 21
Great game but Romo becomes the turnover king we all know he can and i think Farve and company along with maybe the best homefield advantage in football overcome Dallas.

Chargers 37 J E T S 10
Way to much powder blue for Rex Ryans boys. I believe Phillip Rivers and company will light up the scoreboard in what will be the weekends biggest blowout. This score is probably on the conservative side.
