Week 8 Picks (one day early)

Posted on: October 31, 2009 8:24 am

Welcome to Week 8 and coming off my 1st bad week of the season, 8-5, going 0-3 on my upset picks I got my first post.  It's bittersweet since I don't get any when I go 14-2, 12-2, 12-4...Oh well, let's hope I can turn it around this week.  Current standings are:

Yahoo Overall: 330 still in the 99 percentile
New England Fans: 34
NH Fans: 6

In a rematch of 3 weeks ago, the Mark Sanchez Dirty Jets are going to take down Ted "I had to much" Ginn to catch the ball Dolphins.  Even though with my Michigan Henne in the helm, the Jets running game will be too much for 'fins.  The Eagles are going to take down the injured G-Men with there new deep threat DeSean Jackson.  The final 1 o'clock game that is tough will be the Broncos over the Ravens.  Marshall and Kyle Orton are going to connect for a few TDs and the Ravens offense will be no match for the Broncos defense.

Brett Favre makes his return to Lambeau and walks out with a close victory with AP's running game being too much for the Packers.  If AP doesn't get over 25 carries, they might be in trouble.  Monday Night Football....Drew Brees is going to show sophmore Matt Ryan how it's done with beating the Falcons in a shoot out.

Lets hope I get back to my winnings ways....LOVE HOME DAWGS

Week 8 Picks (one day early)

Monday nite was a good game to watch but I have to admit I wanted ATL to beat the undefeated Saints. Was hoping for the miracle at the end.
I will check out your picks this week. NE has several tough games ahead. Miami cant be taken lightly and then the colts ,jets and Saints and back against Miami again. It will be a great set up if NE can win the rest of the way to week 11  at 8 and 2 against the 10 and 0 Saints. I know it will be a tough road for that to happen but I think the Saints unless a disaster happens will be 10 and 0 easily. NE could actually get matched up against the Colts being undifeted as well as the Saints. Should be some great football ahead.

Week 8 Picks (one day early)

I couldn't believe Denver did that bad and you were correct about Tenn, they were due I was just a week too slow.  I think NO will take down Atl as well, Brees is too good right now.

Week 8 Picks (one day early)

You mention Ginn and you were right about him not catching passes but is returns blew you back. You were right on with the G_Men stinking the place out. Carolina was a huge surprise Right on with Favre at Lambeau. Denver Donkeys are showing they were never as great as they thought. Lets see what Monday nite brings. I just think NO has too much on O for Atl to handle

Week 8 Picks (one day early)

Good Luck with those picks.  Mine are a bit different.  I'm guessing Tennesse surprises Jacksonville and Denver is the only Dawg that wins this week.
