The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with. (KJV)
It isn’t difficult at all to make a mountain out of a molehill. All you have to do is add a little dirt. How many times have you seen a little disagreement escalate into a full blown argument because neither party involved would take the initiative and put a stop to it? Nothing is accomplished with harsh words. It can only escalate into a verbal exchange that is sure to not accomplish anything accept to cause conflict. Agree to disagree, move on to something more productive, and remain good friends
Our Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this day and all of Your blessings in our lives. Abba Lord, have Your Holy Spirit give us the fortitude to hold our tongue and not add fuel to the fire if we find ourselves in disagreement with another. Allow us to see an alternative way out of the discussion and put to practice the patience and tactfulness that Jesus used when confronted by those who wished to argue.
We lift our prayers up to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus the Christ…Amen.
Good morning to one and all. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours for a safe and wonder-filled day.
May God Bless,
