Your greatest concert experience?

I got a couple, both in 09, seeing Slightly Stoopid and the B foundation in Cincy and pasing a blunt from the crowd up to the stage and getting it passed back from the bass player. Had some friends in town from Cali and we rode 6 deep in my Avalon from Nashville. People had to rotate turns in the trunk the whole way up and back. lol The other was seeing Rebelution and State Radio in ATL and smoking some killer cali buds with the band behind the venue. Me and two friends left the concert after Rebelutions set and walked around back in hopes of finding them loading their bus and bs-ing and we hollered at them and they smoked us out. Good times. Im sure a some of yall have probably never heard of the bands but if you like west coast reggae style rock then they're something to give a listen. Also, if you dont smoke trees, its my life and i do so dont hate. And for the record Cats, Pearl Jam is a good band! lol

Thanks for posting on this blog.  I had the chance to see Metallica at Rupp Arena a few years back, but I turned it down.

Your greatest concert experiences?

I got a few.  The first would have to be seeing Tool at the New Daisey back in 1996.  I was a huge fan at the time and tickets sold out within an hour.  It was so cool seeing those guys in such a small venue.  A close second to that would be Iron Maiden, Dio and Motorhead in Dallas 2003.  That was a kick @$$ show.  Following up is Judas Priest with Freakin Whitesnake.  Two headliners on the same stage.  I just saw them in Nashville in July.  I love metal.

Wow, 4 pages of rants about whether Pearl Jam is a good band. Can't we just all agree to disagree and stick to the topic?Hey, this is my blog and I can argue about Pearl Jam if I want to. Wink

Your greatest concert experience?

I saw Aerosmith twice in Cincinnati back in '01 and '02.  They were good.  Fuel opened for them the first time, and Run DMC and Cheap Trick opened for them the second time.

Also, I have seen Rik Emmett from Triumph several times in recent years.  He has gone to playing small venues and is playing with Dave Dunlop as a two man guitar show.  Mostly jazz / blues style now, but he still throws in some of the old classics stripped down.i have to look this up for sure.. i liked Triumph in the hayday  ..Thunder seven 1984  was one of my fav albums then . wouldnt mind seeing that

Another great concert was Molly Hatchet at Biddy Mulligans in Chicago.  This was well after there heyday, and we got some KFC, sat at the bar and were about 10 ft from the band.
