AL East wk 9: Taking turns, Hot road - cold home

In the Red Sox series, 5 Yanks get hit, only one Beantowner.
Yesterday:  Granderson homers, next batter Tex gets hit high in the back.  benches empty.

Today:  Granderson homers, Tex got his so flies out, Arod gets hit hard in the thigh.  Pitcher tossed.

What's the new theme?  Bean or be beaned?  Get the kelvar pinstripes, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

AL East wk 9: Taking turns, Hot road - cold home

After coming home from a strong road trip, I expected better for a home series.  Solid Sox get their nods.  Asleep Yanks deserve a kick in the *ss.  Didn't like 3 hit batters, however inadvertant.  Way too late a start, fell asleep up 2-0, where was the rain in the 6th?

Sox best BA in MLB right now...   have they been speaking with MPL?

Hold on to your brooms, the year is long, and you are bound to hear the call:   Clean up in Aisle 9!!

Bah.

Joba looks to be gone for the season.  Add Soriano and Feliciano (and Marte) and you have 4 premium relief pitchers sipping cocktails.  Robertson can't pitch every day and Logan / Pendleton cannot get anyone out.  Noesi looks good but sent down for now.  Forget this new waiver guy.  Sanit?   Mere sanit-ation.  Out of gas, out of energy - a pen run out of ink.  Dry.  Done.

Ugly news.

Sox-Yanks:

Ny takes 2 of 3, with 2 blown saves from the always dependable bean-bullpen.  Destiny.

A-gon main beast for Yankees to figure out.

9 days of 1st place games...  are Red Sox the focus?  ..or is Texas & Cleveland?

Tex on fire, Cano due, let's bring it, folks.

Has anyone noticed that Beckett's whiney-smerky ump sneering testiness has infected Papelbon?  Maybe Bardsworth plague?  Question the wisdom of sticking it to the umps when you don't get the zone you want - whatever the calls, making the ump an enemy can't help.
