Florida vs. Butler

This game is exactly why I watch the Tourney every year, it was amazing.   Congrats to Butler for fighting their way into the Final Four.  The two late games last nite were equally excellent games and great to watch.     As a side note if we did not get M. Anderson I would have been foaming at the mouth for us to land Brad Stevens, he is an excellent young coach and brilliant basketball mind.
Good day for Basketball.

Florida vs. Butler

First, nice blog.  I didn't even know about it till these posts triggered your blog being displayed over on ARBF.

This game is exactly why I watch the Tourney every year, it was amazing.
Me too.  March Madness drama is more intense than bowl season.  I'll never forget the 1990 tourney that finally hooked me on college hoops in general.  That was the year my 2nd favorite team, Georgia Tech (behind Lethal Weapon 3) fought their way into the Final 4.  Man, what a run!  The game that did it for me occurred while we were staying in Savannah for St. Pat's weekend, and it kept us off the street for 2 hours, being glued to the Residence Inn TV!

While I've been watching some games, this year is kinda slow, not having a team I really like even in it.  It's kind of ironic that both Arkansas and Tech are having coaching transitions at the same time.  Glad though, since neither fired coach could get their teams to the NCAA's (lately, in the case of Hewitt).  I'm starved for it.  (Guess you were at Walton yesterday.)
