Eagles Update

Well, it's been a while since I updated but rest assured I've been keeping a close eye on the Eagles.

Missouri trip went as expected, Citadel turns out to have a pretty solid squad, especially considering the way they held up against State.  MO State loss was tough, but it was a road game.

Glad we could beat SEMO and head back home for two wins.

The win over Davenport was not the most pleasant Eagles b-ball experience I've ever had.  We were listless and played with minimal emotion, if it weren't for Medlock's hot hand from three point range we would have lost by 10.

Canisius win was a better effort, but I have to admit I've been to many EMU home games and this was very poorly attended, even for us.

Ohio State was a serious beat down.  Medlock was cold and Dobbins re-aggrevated an injury.  Once Bowdry got into foul trouble we were doomed not just to lose but to be humiliated.  Sad to watch.  On a side note I was sorry to see Evan Turner get hurt...

Now back home for James Madison, a matchup against a solid team from the CAA should help prep for MAC play.  While I'm still optimistic I fear out lack of depth and inconsistency from Dobbins will hurt us as the season progresses.  Let's hope coach Ramsey can work some magic.
