Nuggets Finally Wake Up to the Suns!

Steve Nash came out of the gate scoring and ended the night with 28 points, but the Nuggets finally woke up and beat the Suns, 105-99. Out with a bad ankle, Phoenix could've used a spark from Leandro Barbosa towards the end of the game. At one point Phoenix was up 17 points, but Chauncey Billups seemed to be inspired by Nash and stroked three 3-pointers to start Denver's comeback. Kenyon Martin played his first game since dislocating his finger and scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 1 NASTY block on Nash with two minutes left in the game. Amare Stoudemire seemed to be overcoming an identity crisis shooting and missing jumpers. Maybe he thinks he is Kevin Garnett? Or maybe, the Suns players need to pass him the ball more often especially when Stoudemire is being guarded by Ty Lawson? Ha. Meanwhile, Chris Andersen was camping in the paint, drawing fouls and counting 10 rebounds. Props to Louis Amundson who had a double-double, scoring 12 and gathering 11 rebounds.
Denver fans can get 4 tacos for a buck thanks to Carmelo Anthony's 32 points and 8 rebounds. Apparently, the best way to get past the Western Conference Finals is to keep our starters HEALTHY. Is that too much to ask? We'll see. Great to have K-Mart back.
