A group of NASCAR drivers including five-time champion Jimmie Johnson have been invited to attend a reception at the White House with President Barack Obama next week. Johnson in addition to NASCAR Chairman and CEO Brian France as well as Clint Bowyer, Carl Edwards, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch, Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth were extended the invitation for the visit on Wednesday, September 7th.

However five drivers have declined to make the trip - Biffle, Kurt Busch, Edwards, Harvick and Stewart - all citing "scheduling conflicts" according to a press release.

Seems like this President has way too much time to play games and party like it's 1999. LOL!!  Enjoy it while it lasts, LOSER!!  What a miserable President. He was suppose to change the tone in Washington. Bash America first is his motto. He thinks the country is so bad that the Government must take over everyone's life.

Why would anyone want to visit him. I applaud those driver for having the backbone not to be pushed into nothing more than a photo op for the President's election. Which happens to be the the only thing he does well.

Only prez in history to not release his transcripts. Genius I'm sure. You have no idea how in over his head this guy is.

And what sports team would do a WH visit 2 weeks before the playoffs begin? None.

LOL Bwahaha Obama is a one term president. He has done nothing but put extreme pressure upon our economy. Expanding Govt., useless health care that will never come to fruition, more and more restrictions tougher EPA regulations against companies what does this all mean?? Lower employment - lower tax income for the U.S. Everything he has attempted to increase our economy has failed. You can look to Wall Street as confirmation to all of the above.

Wealthy rednecks should be championing Obama as their hero. I guess they are just too stupid to realize this.
