NASCAR fined Kyle Busch $50,000 and placed him on probation through season's end for his actions in last Friday night's Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

The official statement from the sanctioning body:

NASCAR has fined Kyle Busch $50,000 and placed him on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31 for his actions during the Nov. 4 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) of the 2011 NASCAR Rule Book. NASCAR took immediate action, parking Busch for the remainder of Friday night’s event and maintaining the parked position for the NASCAR Nationwide and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. On Monday, the parking directive was lifted by NASCAR.

In issuing Monday’s penalty, NASCAR went on to say that “if during the remaining NASCAR events in 2011 there is another action by the competitor that is deemed by NASCAR officials as detrimental to stock car racing or to NASCAR, or is disruptive to the orderly conduct of an event, the competitor will be suspended indefinitely from NASCAR.”

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

There was nothing competative with what Kyle Busch did in that race. He purposely rammed his truck into the other driver's vehicle thus making it a criminal assault. A $50,000 fine is chump change to this chump.

He has proven time after time that he is not bigger than the sport itself and needs to be put on the shelf for a long time until he grows of age to actually be behind the wheel of a vehicle that can do speeds of up to 200 MPH without putting someone's life in danger more than what it already is.

Busch is BUSCH league.

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

Don't belong to a country club and I DO eat steak.  I used to watch Nascar before Nextel ruined the sport (if you can call driving in circles for 4 hours a sport).  Nextel brought us smaller fuel cells, the "lucky dog" pass (sounds like something out an Underdog Cartoon) and 95% of the races end in a green/white/checkered if there is as much as a candy wrapper on the track.  Oh and there is that cute little "digger" the animated gopher!!  Do you think Cale Yarborough or Bobby Allison believed in Digger??  Nascar is fixed and made for TV.  The drivers are a bunch of whiney pussies that started dating their girlfriends when they were ten (insert theme song from Deliverance here).

To all you Nascar fans: Find a real sport and get a dental plan.

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

Couldn't agree more, 50,000 is a joke and I couldn't help but be reminded of Earnhardt Sr hitting the wall at Daytona when Busch knocked that truck into the wall, the hits looked identical.  I get that he is competitive but does he not know they are driving at high speeds and he could KILL somebody wih famlies and childre, wives...etc etc.   He needs to go, NASCAR should realize this before something really horrible happens.

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

That BOY should realize that there are a lot of up and coming racers that can replace him.  NASCAR SHOULD BAN HIM FOR A YEAR. Gibbs team doesn't deserve a person who prefers to hurt people. One day someone will be dead and it will be either him or unfortunately someone else. $50k and probation. What a joke!!!! He laughed when he heard that and is planning  his next victim. Watch out Tony and Jimmy this kid must have been abused as a child because he doesn't care who he hurts.

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

I know, Earnhardt wrecked drivers, weekly it seemed, at much higher, and therefore more dangerous, speeds.  I wouldn't be hard-pressed at all to find Messiah wrecking people because he didn't have the driving skuills to pass.  Why no punishment for the kid who tried to run Busch into the wall that started this thing?  I'm no Busch fan, but the double standards and special treatment in NASCAR invalidates any shred of credibility it may have had left.  I like racing, I hate NASCAR.  Remember Atlanta in 2010?  NOTHING happened to Edwards.  You are right, it isn't the same, it is obviously WORSE.

Sorry, your wrong. When I first started getting into NASCAR in the mid/late 80's I was an Earnhardt Hater. Because the people that got me into it were. They told me how dirty of a driver he was, how he wrecked people and just drove dirty. For years I hated Earnhardt, and one day I refelcted on all the races I watched that SOB win...and I realized, my friends were wrong. The fact was Earnhardt drove hard, pushed people around, and yes, sometimes it ended in a wreck. Yes, he drove meaner than most, you dont become the "Intimidator" by being soft and giving room. But of all the wrecks he caused, I don't think but maybe a handful were out and out dumps. Most were just outright agressiveness. But many of the drivers he was up against, were similar, if not just like him, but passed their prime. And he recieved many a payback, and he knew what they were for.

I quarantee you more drivers on the track respected Earnhardt than those that respect Kyle Busch. If his only issue was being overly aggressive and causing a few wrecks throughout the year, it would be one thing, but it's not. He has a history of being an intolerant whiney little beoch, intentionally wrecking others, having an "I could care less" attitude. He's done it time and time again, especially in the Truck Series. He has shown a blatant disregaurd and lack of respect for those drivers and their race cars.

I do agree what Edwards did last year was horrible, and deserved more than what he got, which was being parked for the rest of that race. But let's be clear, it was and is rare event that Carl has issues like that. I personally can't stand the guy, I think he's a Bully with a momma's boy front. I think he has proved it on several occasions, but mostly it's with his mouth. When he wrecked Brad last year, it was one of the worst things he had ever done, but the difference is Busch has been having run-ins with drivers and NASCAR ona regular basis. He was penalized once for flipping off the NASCAR Official while being held for a penalty on pit-road. I can assure you, that type of disrespect won't sit well with anyone, and was figured in when they decided they needed to do something. He has made a habit not showing respect, to anyone.

It's not like this came out of the blue. Even Kyle has talked about working on changing his attitude and his image..why? because he knows the way he acts and treats others, especially on the track, won't cut it. He treats his own team mates on the track with hardly any respect.  He treats his own team and crew with disrespect.

I'm pretty sure what NASCAR did was an attempt to get Kyles attention, that he needs to work harder on actually doing what he keeps talking about doing. Like DW aid, fining a millionaire $50k isn't going to get anyones attentions, niether is 25 pt penalty, but take them out of the car for a weekend....DING DING DING!!!

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

<<----  Not a Busch fan, however....

KyBu gets black flagged for the weekend, now a fine and probation for the remainder of the year, and yet NASCAR let that wrecking ball Vickers back on the track?  Wake me up when either someone finally KOs Vickers or Harvick.  In the mean time, looking forward to Edwards victory at Homestead!

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

I'm confused.  Busch gets in trouble here for intentionally wrecking someone, and I agree with it, but Earnhardt Senior made a living out fo doing the exact same thing.  WHy the double standard?  Doesn't Tony Stewart wreck people all the time?

Because DE never ran someone down under caution @ 130-140mph and put them nose first into the wall while on probation.

It's not the same. It's not even the same as when Carl Edwards flipped Brad at Atlanta last year, though I think that was over the line enough they should have done something.

"Boy's Have at IT" IS how DE raced, but you'll be hard pressed to find anything on him like what you saw KB do. Most of the stuff people complain about with DE was all in th course of racing.

Actually it was at Infineon with Brian Vickers. I was wrong though since it happened in June so it was about 4 or 5 months ago.

Kyle Busch fined $50,000 and on probation

Smoke wrecked someone before the chase started. I forget who he is, but then the guy retaliated during the same race and finsihed Stewart for the race. It happened about three months ago since Stewart is quoted for saying that he will continue to wreck guys who don't get out of his way and next time he will make sure they won't retaliate lol. He never wrecked anyone the way Busch did though.
