To say fans in San Jose are disgusted by the Sharks' recent playoff performances is an understatement.

The Western Conference's top seed left the ice to boos after a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche in Game 1 of the Conference Quarterfinals. Colorado's Chris Stewart struck with 50 seconds left in the regulation.

San Jose has now lost its last four series openers at HP Pavilion, and dropped to to 3-6 all-time in Game 1s on home ice. The Sharks' last opening victory at home came on May 7, 2006, a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

Apr. 25, 2008 Conf. Semis Dallas L, 3-2 (OT)
Apr. 9, 2008 Conf. Quarters Calgary L, 3-2

Ice man - based on what you said and the fact that you are a 49ers/Warriors fan, you should give up on being a fan of sports all together.  If you can't support your team through thick and thin, then don't disgrace them by calling yourself a fan.  Go Coyotes!

Home ice a disadvantage for Sharks

I started college this year, and people always ask me who I root for, and I tell them the Sharks. They comment about how good we are this season, and I say, "Well, yea. We're always good in the regular season, but don't worry, we'll lose in the first round of the playoffs just like we do every year." It's actually ridiculous to be a Sharks fan, because every single year you get your hopes up, and every single year you get crushed in the first round. It's almost not worth getting up for anymore.
