First Star: Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins

Crosby recorded four points, scoring two second-period goals and picking up assists on two others in Pittsburgh's 7-4 win over Ottawa. He now leads the postseason scoring race with 11 points.

Second Star: Jimmy Howard, Detroit Red Wings

Howard registered his first career postseason shutout with a 29-save effort in Detroit's 3-0 win over Phoenix.

Third Star: Joe Pavelski, San Jose Sharks

Sharks fans can breathe a sigh of relief thanks to Pavelski, who scored the game-winner 10:24 into overtime. The 2-1 win for San Jose knots their series with Colorado at two wins apiece.

Honorable Mentions

Goat of the night: Brian Elliott, Ottawa Senators

Elliott became the latest goaltender to get yanked in mid-game. After making 13 saves in the first period, Elliott allowed three goals on five shots in the second.
