Series MVP: Brian Boucher, G, Philadelphia Flyers

At no point during the regular season did the Flyers consider Boucher their No. 1 netminder. That is likely to change after his superb effort Philadelphia's defeat of the New Jersey Devils in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. In five games, Boucher posted a .940 save percentage and a 1.59 goals-against average. Aside from a 5-3 loss in Game 2, in which he allowed four goals, Boucher held the Devils to two or fewer goals. And in Game 5, when the Flyers were without leading goal scorer Jeff Carter and Simon Gagne , the netminder stepped up his game with a 28-save shutout.

Expert Picks

On Target

Wes Goldstein: Philadelphia in 7: Flyers match up well against the Devils and they get stoked by this rivalry.
Erin Brown: Philadelphia in 7: Coming through in the clutch has eluded Martin Brodeur lately.

Off the Mark

Mike Hurcomb: New Jersey in 6: Brodeur will erase Philadelphia's high of sneaking into playoffs.
Dennis Dodd: New Jersey in 5: Never bet against Brodeur, and with Ilya Kovalchuk , the Devils should coast.
