Fictional "SlapShot" goaltender Denis Lemieux felt shame for taking penalties. Chicago Blackhawks netminder Antti Niemi must feel the same following a loss.

Niemi rebounded from Tuesday's Game 3 loss with a 3-0 triumph over the Nashville Predators Thursday night. It marked the second time this postseason he followed a loss with a shutout win.

The rookie has shown an uncanny ability to rebound promptly after a bad game.

During the regular season, the Finnish netminder went 8-1-1 after a loss. Four of those victories were shutouts. When including the postseason, Niemi is 10-2-1 with six shutouts.
