Let's not be mistaken here, the Sharts will be watching this game hoping with all their might that they end up playing Phoenix. If Phoenix wins, I think they would beat them rather easily with the Desert Dogs finally realizing their over-achieving success has run it's course. The second round is a different animal than the first. With all that said, Detroit is the better team of all three considering all four scoring lines, defensive pairings, head-to-head and play-off success, but as a Wings fan I'm worried about all this travel and games played in the Olympics taking its toll on the Winged Wheels. They've been playing ALOT of hockey the last few years with ALOT of travel and even with the rest from injuries this year, they look really tired at times. Whoever wins tonight will deserve it more than the other. No complaints here, I would just be really bummed.

It does not matter who wins. The winner will be too tired to compete with the Sharks. I see the Sharks sweeping the winner. Yes, I am a Sharks fan, but I also know that teams that play a hard fought, intensity filled 7 game series usually fall flat on their face in the first 2 games of their next series. And...this is not the Detroit Red Wings of yesteryear. They can be beat. But then again the Red Wings are always tough against the Sharks no matter what. I want to say that Detroit wins it, but Phoenix will probably do it. After all, they have the home ice advantage. Just so you know the Sharks went 5-2 against Phoenix in the regular season. Not that it means anything because the playoffs is a completely different monster. But it is good that the Sharks have the psychological edge.
