The Morning Skate: News from around the rinks

Howard  says  that  the  Desert  Dogs  got  lucky . Is  he  dreaming ? The  Wings  had  a  5  on  3  for  a  full  1:23  minutes , ( I'm not  sure , it  could  have  been  longer ) , and  they  didn't  score . Not  only  that , they  didn't  score  any  of  they're  PP  in  that  game . Luck  he  says . Maybe , for  the  Red  Wings , as  I  thought  that the  Desert Dogs  would  have  won  the  series  in  6 . Well , I  was only  off  by  one , now  they  are  going  to  Glendale  for  game  7 . I  think  it's  the  Dogs  game , as  they spanked  the  Wings   the  last  game , 5 - 2 , and  it  didn't  look  like  luck  either .
For  the  Sabres   game  tonight , they  need  to  win , or  the  season is  over . The  last  game  in  Buffalo , the  looked  like  a  team , and  spanked  the  Bruins , 5-2 , ( I  think  that  was  the  final score ) , but  , they  played  the  full  game . That's  the Sabres  problem , they  don't  play  the  full  60  minutes  of  hockey . In  the  3  losing  games , in  a  row , they  opened  the  scoring , but  then  quit  playing . With  Vanek  playing  again , I  don't  know  if  they  will play  the  full  game . They  seem  to  set  the  play  on  " auto " , when  they  open  the  score . They  only  way  to  win  a  series is  to  play  the  full  game . That's  hard  for  them  to  know  that . They  played  that  way  for  most  of  the season . Which  team  will  show  up  for  tonight's  game  is  the  question .
