Stephen Strasburg is human.

Delwyn Young became the first player to homer off of Stephen Strasburg to give the Pirates a 2-1 lead after the fourth.

Strasburg gave up two singles to start the inning, but seemed to have a chance to get out of the game when he got Garrett Jones to ground into a double play.

Then on an 0-1 changeup,  Young drove a ball into the first row of seats in right, giving the Pirates the lead. The next batter, Andy LaRoche, popped up to end the inning.

Strasburg now has 56 pitches, 34 strikes, through four.

In the bottom of the third, Strasburg nearly had a hit in his first at-bat, grounding to shortstop Ronny Cedenio in the hole. Strasburg jogged out of the box or else he would have had an infield single.
