Rookie Sam LeCure will start for the Reds on Sunday against Zack Greinke, Cincinnati manager Dusty Baker said on Friday.

Homer Bailey did not throw a scheduled bullpen session on Friday after suffering from some soreness from his rehab start for Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday night.

"He came out of it a little more sore than usual," Baker said of Bailey, 24. "We kind of anticipated that."

Bailey was put on the disabled list with inflammation in his right shoulder. Baker said Bailey would not start for Louisville on Sunday and the team is unsure when he will throw again.

In his place, LeCure has gone 1-2 with a 3.12 ERA in three starts.
