Red Sox outfielder J.D. Drew came up limping after catching Manny Ramirez's liner to end the Dodgers' three-run third and left the game.
Darnell McDonald entered the game in the bottom half of the inning and singled.
UPDATE: Drew will undergo an MRI on Saturday, the Providence Journal 's Brian MacPherson reports .
"When he first came out, initially, he said he thought he felt a pop," Red Sox manager Terry Franconatold reporters. "He's sore."
