What is this world coming to? The Red Sox are actually balking on a price tag? It's like if those Sex & the City chicks went to TJ Maxx. The Boston Globe 's Nick Cafardo writes the Red Sox have interest in Kansas City's David DeJesus, but he's "too expensive."
DeJesus has a club option for $6 million for 2011, but because of that, the Royals are looking for prospects, something the Red Sox may not be willing to give up as the team, despite its injuries, continues to stick around in the American League East race. Still, DeJesus would be an upgrade for Boston, even if there weren't injuries. DeJesus is hitting .332/.399/.481 with five home runs and 35 RBI. He's a career .290/./361/.430 hitter.
