Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez will not go on the disabled list after an MRI exam showed inflammation in his sore right hamstring. Ramirez, who has had frequent hamstring problems, felt discomfort while running the bases Tuesday and sat out Wednesday.
Even worse, Ramirez can't count on his 1994 Porsce Turbo 3.6 to get him around anymore. He donated his car (photo courtesy of the Dodgers), one of fewer than 1,500 of its kind made, to be auctioned for charity. It was recently appraised for $58,000, and proceeds will go to the Dodgers' official charity and a home for displaced girls.
If you're in the market for a used Porsche, or want to find out more about the auction, check it out here.
No word on which bus route Ramirez will now be using to get to Dodger Stadium.
