DeMarlo Hale Add a couple more names into the pool of candidates for the Blue Jays' managerial position -- Red Sox coaches Tim Bogar and DeMarlo Hale.

According to Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com , Bogar and Hale have "undergone preliminary interviews" with the Blue Jays.

Bogar, third-base coach for the Red Sox, said he met with Toronto GM Alex Anthopoulos and assistant GM Tony LaCava last week for 90 minutes.

"I tried to give them a sense of how I handle people and a ballclub," Bogar told McAdam. "It was kind of a 'get-to-know-me' thing -- who you are and what you're about."

Hale (pictured) was previously the team's third-base coach before moving to bench coach for the 2010 season.

The Jays are apparently trying to set a record for most interviews for a managerial position. The list of those interviewed or set to be interviewed includes Bobby Valentine, Don Baylor, Bob Melvin, Eric Wedge, Ron Roenicke, Luis Rivera, Bruce Butterfield and Nick Leyva.
