Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

Luke ScottThe Orioles' Luke Scott still doesn't believe President Barack Obama was born in the United States.

"[President Obama's] birth certificate has yet to be validated," Scott told Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City Star.

Scott, a proud birther, made headlines at the winter meetings when he told Yahoo!'s David Brown he didn't believe the president was born in Hawaii and that he was "hiding something."

Obama, of course, released the "long form" birth certificate so many had asked to see recently. That wasn't good enough for Scott.

"If they can counterfeit $100 bills, I think it's a million times easier to counterfeit a birth certificate, if you ask me," Scott said. "So, all it is, let's just see if it's real. Anybody can produce a document, so let's check it out."

The Orioles, it should be noted, have done their best to distance themselves from Luke's outspoken political beliefs and have asked him not to talk about them on company time, but have also allowed him to exercise his right to free speech.

In more important matters, Scott was 2 for 5 with a three-run homer in the Orioles' 6-5 loss to the Royals on Tuesday. It was his sixth homer of the season.

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

My favorite thing about Freedom of Speech is it allows people to show just how ignorant they are. Obama has shown more proof he was born in this country than any President before him, but many of you including Luke here, don't believe he was. Hmmm I wonder why this particular President is having this problem, could it be.....no it can't be. That doesn't exist anymore right?

Scott is allowed to say what he wants, and it is a valid point that we should get 100% validation for his birth cirtificate.
BUT
If our political system allowed Obama to get into the presidential race and then the seat, i think we have more to worry about than simple Fraud. It would mean the corruption of the entire political system. but im pretty sure the people who get paid to do those things and not to hit a ball with a wooden stick, did their job correctly.

Scott still doubts Obama's birth certificate

I dont care too much for the prez nor Scott, but I think he has the absolute right to think any way he pleases and to you all out here who oppose him, well that makes you not much better.
How stupid are you that you think criticizing someone's opinion is the same thing as saying he does't have a right to think that way.

Seriously, find one post on this message board where somebody said that Scott shouldn't be allowed to think that way because he has a different opinion.  Guess what?  You can't, because nobody is saying that.  So either stop being stupid by thinking they're the same thing or stop posting.

When faced with a question with no credible answer, those in trouble always yell "Racist".  See how well that flies in '12.  You better work on getting an answer.  Cause the "Birth Certificate" that was shown is a fake.  It's put together in something like 8 parts and signed off by one "U K Lele".  Get it?  Keep drinking.  This country is in so much trouble.  I thought online access would educate people.  My bad.
